🎶 Casa de Andalucía Rocío Festival Xàbia 2026
From 26 to 28 June 2026, the Casa de Andalucía in Xàbia celebrates its traditional festivities in honour of the Virgen del Rocío. The programme includes flamenco music, dancing, a pilgrimage, a flower offering, food, drinks, The equestrian show has been cancelled.
This is a lively and authentic local event, perfect for guests who want to experience Spanish culture beyond the beach. Expect Andalusian atmosphere, music, traditional dress, sevillanas, and a friendly community celebration in one of Jávea’s most charming open-air spaces.
💡 Local tip from Casa Tosca: The Riurau d’Arnauda is only about 3 minutes on foot from Casa Tosca, just on the other side of the Parking de la Constitución. It is an easy evening walk from the Old Town.

Christians festivities. This colourful celebration includes
parades, costumes, music, fireworks and historical
re-enactments.
It is one of the most photogenic and atmospheric events of the summer season in Xàbia.

Beaches & Water Sports
Jávea is famous for its variety of beaches, from sandy shores to crystal-clear coves. The Arenal is the only sandy beach, perfect for families, restaurants, and evening walks. For something more natural, explore the stunning coves such as Cala Blanca, Cala Sardinera, Portitxol (La Barraca), and Granadella, known for their turquoise waters and snorkeling.
If you enjoy quieter spots, Playa de la Grava near the port offers a more local atmosphere, while hidden coves like Sardinera require a short walk but reward you with incredible views and fewer crowds.

Arenal Beach
The only sandy beach in Jávea, perfect for families, swimming, and long walks along the promenade. Surrounded by restaurants and cafés, it’s ideal for both day and evening visits.

Playa de la Grava
Located near the port, this pebble beach has a more local and relaxed atmosphere. Great for a quieter swim and close to authentic Spanish restaurants.

Cala Blanca
